PROGRAM NOTES
This string quartet started just as any other until a recurring arm injury flared up, leaving me unable to play my cello. The quartet took on a deeper meaning and essentially wrote itself. There have been countless concerts I have not been able to play in with my friends, professors, and mentors, which has been devastating. It’s been notably difficult dealing with the injury itself, let alone the emotional toll. This quartet is dedicated to all of those who have been there for me through everything, and otherwise.
