PROGRAM NOTES
This piece encompasses a journey that can be heard through the individual calls of low brass and through the statement of the first melody. As the piece develops intensity grows, transitioning into a melody that begins to tug on the emotional heart strings of a traveler on their journey. The piece is organized into three sections and trickles away in a rhythmic fashion featuring solos of the woodwinds over the strings.
